• Engineering Expo to foray into Chennai and Indore
• Expo to generate business worth Rs.150 crores    

Mumbai, Sep 04, 2008: Infomedia 18 Limited, will be hosting another edition of Engineering Expo in 5 cities across the country. The company has already hosted 9 editions of the Engineering Expo across multiple cities in the last 6 years. This year besides Pune (3rd Edition), Ahmedabad (7th Edition) and Ludhiana (2nd Edition), Engineering Expo will also foray into Chennai and Indore. Spurred by the response the exhibition had received in Pune, Ahmedabad and Ludhiana last year, Infomedia India has expanded its reach and added Chennai and Indore, which are industrial hubs and home to numerous SMEs.

With more than 750 participants and over one-lakh visitors, this year the Expo is expected to generate business estimated worth Rs. 150 crores. The Expo serves as a platform for Indian and Foreign companies to exhibit their products and services, to interact with potential buyers, get new business and forge new partnership.

The Expo will be held at Pune from Nov 20 to 23, 2008; Ahmedabad from Dec 18 – 22, 2008; Indore from Jan 9 – 12, 2009; Ludhiana from Feb 27 – Mar 2, 2009 and Chennai from Mar 27 – 29, 2009.

The Expo will have pavilions dedicated to machine tools, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, fluid power, rubber, plastics, packaging, electrical and electronics, pumps & valves, automation systems, material handling equipment, instrumentation & control equipment, chemical plant & machinery, pharmaceutical machinery, safety equipments, wires & cables, adhesives & sealants, automotive components, IT products & services and general engineering.

Tamil Nadu has one of the highest industrialization in the country and boasts of many heavyengineering and manufacturing based industry from automobiles to software, from dotcoms toretailing. Indore is fast becoming one of the busiest and most sophisticated business hubs in India.
